I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Anthropological Linguistics Group. My current research combines insights from qualitative linguistics, semantics, and anthropology with the development of spatial statistical methods for uncovering geographic areas of past language contact. I apply these methods across a range of languages and areas to gain insights into diverse topics including cognition, the evolution of language, and the dynamics of areal diffusion.
