Talk by Guido Linders at ALT16 titled "Speakers impose similar demands on inferencing across languages"

Guido Linders presented joint work with Stefan Schnell and Geoffrey Haig (University of Bamberg) at the 16th International Conference of the Association for Linguistic Typology in Lyon on July 2, investigating the implications of highly implicit languages on the contextual inferencing demands for the listener, and comparing the sharedness of the conditions under which different referential form types are used across diverse languages.
