Outreach: Sebastian Krapp competes in Open Science Slam with presentation on "The formal language of animals"
In this science slam, hosted by the university and the cultural center of Konstanz, researchers have 8 minutes to present their scientific topic to a general audience in an entertaining and engaging way. In my presentation, I will explain some mathematical approaches to study the complexity of animal communication, based on methods from formal language theory and previous NCCR projects.
