Balthasar Bickel et al. publish clarifications and responses to comments on their paper "Language follows a distinct mode of extra-genomic evolution"

In "Languages evolve ergodically: Clarifications and responses", Bickel, Giraud, Zuberbühler and van Schaik address critical comments on their previous article, in particular on the ergodicity of word evolution, vertical vs horizontal transmission, ergodic evolution outside language, the evolution of linguistic evolution, and further comments.
