Cheryl Gilford presented a talk titled “The Neural Dynamics of Hierarchical Syntactic Structures During Language Comprehension: An MEG Study” at the Cognitive Neuroscience Society Conference 2026 in Vancouver (March 7–11). The research investigates how a broad range of neural frequency bands across different brain regions contribute to syntactic processing during real-time language comprehension, using magnetoencephalography (MEG).
