Two sides of the same coin? The neural infrastructure for sentence production and comprehension
The organization of language in the healthy brain has been mostly studied from a perceptive point of view (i.e. while listening or reading), whereas neuroimaging studies with speaking are more rare. In this talk I will shift the focus to brain activity during sentence production, and I aim to discuss to what extent production and comprehension rely on the same neural structures, after accounting for their different goals and requirements.
